Exam Prep:

- Attended the final Altered Security webinar: “Evading Entra ID Protection: Red Team Tradecraft Against Modern Identity Defenses”
- Superb, amazing, out of this world
- Tied together everything I’ve been learning as part of Azure study
- Offensive identity security techniques connecting directly to defensive concepts
Key takeaways
Sometimes a single learning session is worth more than hours of scattered study. The Altered Security webinar series finale delivered exactly that.
Watching red team tradecraft against Entra ID Protection in action made all the Azure enumeration, kill chains, and identity security research click into place. Theory is one thing. Seeing evasion techniques demonstrated against real defenses is something else entirely.
The fact that it tied together months of Azure study into a cohesive offensive picture was perfect timing - even if exam prep itself stalled this week.
Challenges and friction
Exam prep didn’t move forward. Not because of lack of motivation, just competing demands on time. It happens.

Week 17:
- Get back to exam prep momentum
